RTFGen - the RTF generator for PHP
RTFGen, a RTF generator class for PHP, is a very powerful tool to create complex RTF files from PHP on the fly. You control all the aspects of the RTF
document you are generating: pagination (orientation, numbering, size, etc), sections, paragraphs, all
formatting properties (for
paragraphs, pictures, tables), colors, styles, fonts, headers, footers, footnotes, endnotes, pictures, tables
and much more.
Because of its flexibility, this RTF generator could be used very well as document
generation software within a document delivery application. |
What is the RTF ?
The rich-text format (RTF) standard is a method
of encoding formatted text and graphics for easy transfer between
different programs and different operations.
RTF version 1.7 includes all new control words introduced by
Microsoft Word for Windows 95 version 7.0, Word 97 for Windows,
Word 98 for the Macintosh, Word 2000 for Windows, and Word 2002
for Windows, as well as other Microsoft products.

How a view-level module export integrates
Lotus Notes?
Simple and closely. After a basic two steps installing
process you will be able to export documents to the Excel, XML or HTML
formatted files as
you usually do from Lotus Notes menu : File->Export...
and then choosing 'Export to Excel', 'Export to XML' or 'Export to HTML'. And that is all you have
to do in order to get your view or your selected documents from
view in an Excel/XML/HTML file!

Lotus Notes view-level
export modules
A view-level export module for Lotus Notes allows the export of the documents from a Lotus Notes view to
various formatted files. It expands the standard ways Lotus
Notes exports data from views with a new customized file format.
Smart Systems has developed three new export modules in order to
extend the standard Lotus Notes export file formats (structured
text files, tabular text files, and Lotus 1-2-3 files) with Excel,
XML
and HTML formats.
